FAQ
Our Materials & Craftsmanship
What materials are used in your products?
We work exclusively with Irish linen, a high-quality, natural fabric known for its durability and timeless appeal. We've been partnering with the same trusted mills since we started out 14 years ago, building strong relationships rooted in craftsmanship and tradition. This ensures consistency, sustainability, and exceptional quality in every piece we create.
What is Irish linen?
Irish linen is a premium fabric made from the flax plant, known for its strength, breathability, and smooth texture. It is woven and produced here using centuries-old techniques that have been passed down through generations. Valued for its quality and timeless elegance, Irish linen is a sustainable and long-lasting choice for both clothing and home textiles.
What makes your products sustainable?
We prioritise sustainability by working carefully to minimise waste throughout our production process and by using eco-friendly, compostable threads in our embroidery. We collaborate closely with local mills and emphasise quality craftsmanship—from the materials we choose to the sewing—ensuring each piece is made to stand the test of time. Linen itself is an incredibly sustainable fabric, made from flax that grows naturally in Europe with minimal water and pesticides. It’s also durable and ages beautifully, making it a long-lasting choice. Our buttons are all natural, further supporting our commitment to eco-friendly materials. Additionally, we minimise plastic use in our packaging to reduce our environmental impact.
Are items made locally in Ireland?
Since we started 14 years ago, we've always prioritised making our products here in Ireland. We work closely with skilled seamstresses in Dublin, as well as We Make Good – a social enterprise that employs and trains people from disadvantaged backgrounds. As our business has grown, and to maintain the high standard of craftsmanship we're known for, we’ve recently partnered with a small artisan factory in Portugal renowned for its tailoring expertise. This allows us to ensure consistency of quality while staying true to our values of thoughtful, ethical production.

Ordering
Do you make to order or produce in batches?
We do both. Our made-to-order Irish linen pieces are crafted here in Dublin, with each garment individually cut and sewn once your order is placed. The current lead time for made-to-order is approximately 3–4 weeks. This approach allows us to minimise waste and produce more thoughtfully. Alongside this, we also create small batch runs of our collection, some of which are available in our studio shop. If you need something urgently or would like to try on pieces in person, please don’t hesitate to get in touch or drop by.
How long does made-to-order take?
Each made-to-order piece is carefully cut and sewn here in Dublin once we receive your order. This personalised process ensures attention to detail and quality in every garment. Currently, the lead time for made-to-order items is approximately 3–4 weeks from the date your order is placed.
Do you do corporate gifts?
Yes, we do! We’ve had the pleasure of working with many well-known companies such as Guinness, Kerrygold, and Fáilte Ireland. We specialise in creating bespoke pieces and custom embroidery tailored to your brand, making corporate gifts that are unique, high-quality, and memorable.
Do you make wedding dresses or outfits?
Yes, we do! We’ve created many beautiful bridal outfits recently and can make pieces from our collection in elegant cream or white Irish linen. We also offer custom embroidery options in cream, metallic, or colourful threads if you’d like to add a fun, personal touch to your special day.
